Brownie Troop 2091 celebrated 100 years of Girl Scouting with a special parent presentation. The girls portrayed the first Girl Scout meeting (held on March 12, 1912) and performed a choreographed dance to "Ignite." Way to go girls!

Brownie Troop 2091 folded over 100 flags for US military troops! If your organization is interested in this project, go to the Pocket Flag Project website for more information. Operation Care Package is another great organization that we have supported over the years.

For the past several summers, I have volunteered to help with Vacation Bible School crafts at our church. This year, the theme was PandaMania, and I spent most of the prep time sewing 350 fabric headband covers for our panda ears craft. Here is a picture of Samantha with her cousin, Grace. They make very cute pandas!

My Mini Me and daughter, Samantha, organized a dog wash in August 2010 to support our local Humane Society. She washed five dogs and raised $63.00 to help local dogs and cats get adopted into a permanent home. We are so proud of her!SPCA of Central Florida |

In September 2010, Mini Me Crafts donated a gift basket to benefit the Windy Ridge School PTA. Windy Ridge is the school where I teach and Samantha attends. We are both very fortunate to be a part of the Windy Ridge community - a K-8 grade public school. the PTA has done so much to support my classroom teaching. I was happy to have the opportunity to give back.Windy Ridge School |
